Schedule and formalitiesThe German Prize for IT-security will be awarded every second year. The application process for the IT-security prize consists of two phases. There will be a pre-selection on the basis of a short project descriptions in the first phase. Only those who have been nominated in this first phase will be able to provide their full application.Phase 1: Registration is open until 18 February 2008. Access to the application web interface will be granted to registered applicants only. The pdf-file with the application has to be uploaded by 28 February 2008 (the web site will be accessible from 30.11.2007 onwards). Evaluation will start on 1 March 2008. By Mid May 2008 it will be clear who has been selected for phase two. Phase 2: By mid May 2008, the nominees will be asked to upload a complete application. The deadline is 30 June 2008. The 10 best applicants will then be invited for the awards ceremony in October 2008. This ceremony will take place in Darmstadt. |
